I am FTM and at the very end of my pregnancy. I had a sweep on Friday and had some cramping, however nothing major. Last night I had tightening and period like cramps that woke me up through the night. For the last week or so I’ve slowly been loosing plug but no bloody show or waters breaking.

This afternoon I had quite strong pains and tightenings that I couldn’t talk through. These faded and now pains have started consistently since I had a bath around 10:30pm ish. Taken paracetamol and having OH rub my back and light some candles. This is helping but can still feel pains and going tense.

I have had loose bowel movement fir two days could these be signs of early labour? I’m not sure if it’s just really strong Desmond or contractions or even when to time from? My back is super stiff and sore also.

Sorry I’m so inexperienced but any advice would be amazing x

Hello, it does sound as though you might be in early labour, the bowel movements could be your body getting ready. The human body is an amazing thing.
Very best wishes

Thanks so much! Fingers crossed she’s making her appearance soon, trying to sleep right now but every time I dose off I get some kind of discomfort! Hopefully can sleep through most of it

Still cramping this morning been up a few times during the night but I feel like it’s just constant pains, nothing getting more intense yet!

Just need her out or the cramp to stop 😂

I'd give the hospital a call and see what they say. Better to let them know what's happening.
