Not really looking for answers or advice but just feel like I need to rant away 😂 30 weeks + 2 and I'm struggling.. Babies measuring five weeks ahead, I'm heavy, sore, throats on fire from acid and to top it all off I had the whooping cough vaccine today which has given me the WORST diarrhea 🙄🖕🏼

Anyone else struggling and need to rant?

I had awful acid when I was pregnant (DS was born this January), it always felt like the contents of my stomach were being pushed back up my throat!
My mother advised me to sleep with my pillows in sort of a V shape so I was kind of propped up, and that helped me at night, so that might be worth a try.

I remember that heavy feeling! The third trimester just really took it out of me, I just napped as much as humanly possible. Grin

Sorry to say op it doesn't get easier either. I've been struggling in 3rd tri and I'm 34 plus 3 now and feel knackered!!! Are they inducing you early due to measuring big or giving growth scans?

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 11/02/2020 21:41

34+4 here and same, but also some piles that have developed in the last few days. Yay.

Get yourself some omeprazole from your doc for the heartburn. It’s a godsend & perfectly safe in pregnancy. I’ve been on it for months & I’ve really enjoyed not having to drink gaviscon in this second pregnancy!

35 weeks tomorrow and I feel your pain!!!

Heart burn, spd, sciatica, hormones are making me all over the place with my moods.. And apparently the baby is big. 3 more weeks from today and I'm being booked into be induced.. I'm counting the days down!!!!

If your acid is really bad get some omeprazole from the GP; I really suffered in my first pregnancy as i didn’t realise there was a solution and it’s changed things a lot this time.

Aw bless you all for advice & I'm sorry some of you are struggling too but I'm glad to know I'm not on my own!
Making a drs appointment tomorrow morning for acid, it's driving me mad I can't get comfortable, can't sleep have barely been able to eat.. It's making me feel sick too!

I'm having regular growth scans for baby, and an elective csection too as both previous pregnancies were csections.. Just really feeling sorry for myself 😂

The things us poor women have to get through! How I'd love to be a man lol xx

Also 30 weeks and am dreading the fact it will only get worse from here on in. My bump is measuring four weeks behind, but baby is actually pretty big, meaning that all my organs are being crushed as baby has nowhere else to go, which is pleasant.

Fortunately the omeprazole has sorted my heartburn, but I'm vomiting regularly due to the compression on my stomach, I'm shattered and my ribs are constantly killing me.

So fed up! So big sympathy from me.
