Sorry for the pic lol, but thought I'd try to make the description as easy as possible.

So question is very simple: at what height did you feel the first movements?

I am feeling something between red and blue - and trying to understand if I'm feeling the right stuff lol!

I would say between red and blue (closer to blue) and a little bit to the side. It took till over 21 weeks and it feels bit like something popping for me.

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 11/02/2020 21:07

Red and blue at 16 weeks, and I'm 24 weeks now and he is still soooo low down and still kicks down there! I literally only just felt movement at green yesterday

Goose4 · 11/02/2020 21:40

I'd say blue, but over to my left side. At about 18 weeks, I think. Now I'm 38 weeks and get kicked in my ribs all day!!

Lalla525 · 11/02/2020 21:41

Thanks ladies. I was expecting movements higher up so got very confused when they were down there.

Blue, about 19 weeks

See reading this is confusing for me because I am 21+5 and have been feeling kicks only just starting this week (not movements, just kicks/punches) in the green kind of area. A lot higher than people are saying most of the time! I haven’t felt that much lower down yet as the majority have been higher up for me. I haven’t felt any of this swirling/popping/butterflies stuff that people have gone on about. This is my first as well though so I don’t particularly know what I’m feeling for, just the kicks are too hard to ignore!

Catlover10 · 11/02/2020 23:00

Edit: when I look at the diagram again it is probably more like the purple area.

I think everyone is different really!

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 12/02/2020 07:43

I think around the blue or black dot - I thought it was winf doe the longest time until I read that early movments were described as 'flutters'.

Fast forward to 34 weeks, the babies in a transverse position and im being kicked in the hip all day long

enchantedspleen · 12/02/2020 07:52

Red and blue I'd say and I felt movement very early looking back considering its my first pregnancy. 16 weeks but the placenta is at the back and I (was!) Quite slim. Now I'm almost 28 and she's been making my belly dance at all the dots for weeks!

Sunshine1235 · 12/02/2020 08:05

Probably round the blue to the side at 19 weeks, feels like popping and gas

Nowayorhighway · 12/02/2020 12:47

Red and blue, they’re always very low down to begin with and generally feel like tiny bubbles.

addictedtotheflats · 12/02/2020 12:55

Purple area 18weeks. Felt like a light phone vibration , thats the only way I could describe it.

Lalla525 · 12/02/2020 17:10

Thanks all. Much reassured now. Although today was a very busy day and felt nothing, so a whole new set of worries can start, I.e. does not move enough.

purple for me

Nat6999 · 12/02/2020 17:24

Mine felt like bubbles popping, started around 16-18 weeks.

fibeee · 12/02/2020 17:47

@Lalla525 I'm in my third trimester and still tend to not feel my baby if my mind is preoccupied or if I'm busy or rushing around.

Vix20678 · 12/02/2020 20:01

Red and blue. Tiny bubbles popping. I miss that feeling now ten years on!
