Faint positive line

Hello! This is my first post my partner and I have been trying to conceive for just under a year and a few days before I was due on I got some spotting (thinking I’d come on) since then nothing and I’m a couple of days past my period date and have just done a test and it’s produced a very faint positive line, which it also did on Sunday.

Does this faint line mean I’m pregnant?

Yes a faint line is positive as long as it arrived within the test time.

@MinesALatte ah ok. Well it's hard to say for definite without seeing it but as PP said, a faint line is still a positive if you followed the instructions and it appeared in the stated time.
Genuine false positives are very rare.

I did a digital one today that returned a ‘not pregnant’ so I guess that answers my question

Digitals are less sensitive so it’s normal to get a ‘not pregnant’ from them really early on so it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not pregnant.

Get a FRER - they’re extra sensitive and come up with really good lines really early on. Good luck!!

So far I’ve had faint lines Sunday, Tuesday and today and a ‘not pregnant’ from a digital yesterday

Digitals have a higher threshold so often show not pregnant if you're testing quite early. Give it a week and try again

But you are defo pregnant! No nee for a digital really but people seem to like them for confirmation
