I'm 7+2, no cramps or anything and still got sore boobs and nausea today but this is now the second time I've had what looks like a bit of brown CM, like old blood. First time was a week ago. Never normally have it and didn't with DS. Any had this before?

My gp advised my similar bleeding was due to sensitive cells in my lining. Perhaps you have injured your insides in some way?

As always better to ask a proper doc than me!

Yes I think I'll call epu today for a bit of advice, nothing this morning so who knows

I have had this 3 times during my pregnancy (currently 13+4 weeks) first time at 6 weeks had an emergency appointment was told it could be a threatened miscarriage nothing they could do unless it was red blood and the doctor was not helpful at all. Had a private scan at 8 weeks and all was good I then had it again at 10 weeks and most recently last week this time I called my midwife and she suggested it could be due to cervical changes which causes bleeding if cells are irritated such as sex or constipation Blush the blood has never turned red in my case and never lasted more than 24 hours and both my scans have been fine but as other poster said it always best to talk to midwife/gp

Thanks @Charchar19 that's a bit more reassuring as I have been constipated too!

I would push for scan x I had the same and it didn't end well. Although my friend had the same but her pregnancy continued

yestonodressyet · 11/02/2020 10:34

Ok thanks @Jojowash , did you have cramps or any other signs too or just the brown discharge? Sorry for your loss Thanks

I had this at 12 weeks and everything was fine, I also had a bit of light pink mucus.

I did only have brown spotting when I had a missed miscarriage but it wasn’t mucus, it was almost like coffee granules.

@yestonodressyet

No no cramps nothing. I had it one morning really light, almost tinged brown, then nothing all day, then next day I had it in the morning again just as I wiped so I took myself to A&E had a early scan.

My friend had the same then proper blood but her baby was fine. Although she had her early at 22 weeks don't think that was connected at all to early bleeding.

@yestonodressyet

How are you doing? X

yestonodressyet · 23/02/2020 19:19

No more spotting or cramps, 9 weeks now so just counting down till the scan in a few weeks time! Thank you for checking in!
