Enjoy your first, watch lots of daytime TV and do things for yourself when they nap cos once you have two you rarely get a moment to yourself: feel like I spent my first mat leave feeling guilty for having tea in front of TV instead of doing ‘enriching activities’ with baby, now I wish I’d done it more...

Also make the most of going to pubs/ cafes/ restaurants when they’re newborn as when they get older these places can be pretty stressful.

DO NOT google stuff when you’re up in the night - sleep deprivation and 1st time anxiety can lead you down horrid google worm holes. get a kindle and read that instead.

Good luck OP motherhood is great!!!
