Wondering if anyone has had something similar

I did a pregnant test 1 week ago and it was positive i did 4 tests and all were very clear with dark lines I would have only been 3 weeks pregnant.. yesterday I started bleeding I would be 4 weeks and 2 days. Have I had a early miscarriage?

When it’s so early on it’s hard to tell, as nothing would show on a scan as far as I know. But again bleeding is quite common in pregnancy too, but at 4 weeks pregnant a lot of women wouldn’t even know they’re pregnant yet so mistake losses as a period . I’d leave it a few days and if you’re still bleeding a lot, call your GP for some advise . Hope you’re ok x

It depends how much you’re bleeding but if it’s like a period then probably. Sorry OP I had this last year at 5 and a half week. I’d suggest going to the doctor or a hospital with an early pregnancy unit for them to check it out

It's lighter the a period but not spotting.. but I don't have any cramping like a period...

In October I had a early miscarriage so that's why I'm more worried because I wasn't expecting this again Sad

Some bleeding can be normal. I miscarried in December and there was no mistaken it for a period, it was very heavy and painful. But it did start as just light bleeding. Best option would be to see the GP and they may then send you to the EPC unit.

I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks. It started off with pink mucus when I wiped that turned into bright red bleeding after a couple of hours. I bled for a few hours then started losing clots and eventually lost the pregnancy.

Spotting can be very normal in early pregnancy.

Hi OP, sorry you're going through such a worrying time. Hopefully as pp said the bleeding is nothing to worry about.

This did unfortunately happen to me twice and turned out to be chemical pregnancies. In both cases I did another pregnancy test a few days after the bleed and they were completely negative.
