I have gestational diabetes and am booked in for induction on 20th with two sweeps between now and then. After speaking to my consultant last week and expressing some concerns and possibility of wanting a C-section I have decided to request and elective c section instead of induction if baby doesn't appear on her own before then. My second sweep and general appointment with my consultant is booked for 18th (due date 17th) is it too late then to tell them my request or do I need to ring up tomorrow so it can get booked in earlier?
