When did the sickness start?

Hi all!

I’m about 5 weeks pg and all okay atm. Missing wine and very tired but generally feeling well.

Currently wondering whether I should enjoy it whilst I can, as a big nausea/food aversion bomb is coming my way, or whether I’m one of the lucky 1/5 that doesn’t experience nausea.

If you’ve been feeling sick, when did your symptoms start to show? (...and if so, what would you recommend to manage it during the day?)

My sickness started around 7 weeks and lasted until I gave birth. So eat everything you can and enjoy yourself for the next couple weeks!

Mine started properly at 6 weeks but from 5 weeks I was feeling queasy. You might be one of the lucky ones who never get sickness 😊 but if you do remember it won't last forever!

6 weeks nausea begins for me peaking around 10 weeks, tailing off by the end of the first trimester. It sucks. I hate it, and I'm not even sick that often with it. Just never-ending nausea.

5/6 weeks for me, just in time for my honeymoon! Envy

Thanks! I guess I’ll know either way in about a week!

Any advice on how to cope with it if it happens?

Never - at all. This is my second pregnancy and am 28 weeks, haven’t been or felt sick once with either!

Preg 1- morning sickness started around 7/8 weeks, but not all that bad. Only on some days here and there.

Preg 2- I had nausea 2 days before I even knew I was pregnant and it continued. Much worse that 1st preg and every day I felt grim and dry wretched, if not vomited.

Sadly I MC both before 11 weeks, so unsure if it would have continued, but both pregnancies were very different.
