PGP easing with baby engagement?

Hi,

I suffer with PGP quite intensely since first trimester. This is my 4th baby and I had this in the past but not as bad as this time.

I'm seeing a private physio next week for manual therapy.

But the last days something weird happened. I started to feel what I would call weird contractions that are localised in lower back and lower front. They're not BH as I have those and are different. Yesterday I went to triage to get checked and the monitor wouldn't register any, but I could feel them when baby's heart beat went higher. I also started to walk better and I don't have the same amount of pain anymore.

I wonder if it's because maybe baby moved better into my pelvis?? I had a growth scan last week and at 28 weeks baby is 3lb 2 oz. He's head down since a few weeks also.

Did anyone else with PGP experienced this when baby engaged better in the pelvis?

In my first pregnancy it made a massive difference once the baby engaged - I think her head really stabilised my pelvis.
