Fainting and dizziness in first trimester

This is pregnancy number three for me but completely different to my first two. I will call the midwife about this anyway, but I have been having spells of quite extreme dizziness and this morning lost consciousness. Has anyone else has similar?

Yes , turned out my Blood pressure was very very low . Try and drink plenty of water and don’t get up too quickly xx

I fainted at work. My blood pressure was low. I think its quite common

I had it about week 8, not to the point of passing out but made me feel very faint where I had to sit down. Was on and off for about a week and then was fine!

I've had this. My midwife said low blood pressure is fairly common in early pregnancy.

I’ve got this and am 19 weeks, has been happening since the start. Have properly fainted twice (in public) but had to swiftly find a seat a lot more often.
Midwife says it’s just low blood pressure and apart from drinking lots and not getting up quickly not much to be done about it. My threshold for walking/standing up is about 10 mins. Very inconvenient as I’m used to walking lots!
Ask them to check your iron as sometimes that can be the cause (although isn’t for me). Hope it improves for you soon!

The First Aiders at my local Sainsbury's knew me by name. Every time I stood still in the first trimester, I passed out. The checkout queue being a classic example.........
