How soon did everyone buy maternity clothes? Im not sure if im 8 weeks or 12 weeks ( I had a period then 2 weeks later another one so Im clueless) and all my clothes are already so uncomfortable so I bought some maternity jeans yesterday but I feel a bit silly as im still so early!!!

I had to start buying work bits from 12 weeks as all my waisted dresses just didn't fit me. I was showing very high and quite early so just made sense. I've managed to stay in my pre-pregnancy jeans (23+3 weeks) but they were a bit big in the waist and I've lost weight during pregnancy otherwise I would be in maternity jeans by now.

Go for jeans with stretch and nothing to tight in the middle. A friend of mine managed to avoid maternity wear for a 7 months by just buying a size bigger (mainly dresses) and wearing high waisted belts.

Leggings are your best friend as well as tunics. Not the most fashionable but definitely comfortable.

I began to wear maternity leggings, trousers and bras from 5 weeks as I had loads of bloating and was massive everywhere. It all went down by about 10 weeks. I’m now 13 weeks and the bump is very slowly beginning to show, can’t see much but it hurts to wear something tight on the stomach so I’m continuing to wear them. I didn’t buy any tops as I have lots that are hopefully loose enough and I’ll buy them as I get bigger if needed.
