10 weeks PG: Is sleeping on my stomach safe?

I start the night off sleeping on my left side, but as the night wears on I end up on my stomach - Will this do my baby any harm?

Thanks,
from a paranoid mum-to-be

I'm 22 weeks and I'm still sleeping on my stomach! I think as long as it's comfortable it's ok - you'll know when to stop. At least, that's what the midwife told me

I've always slept on my tummy and did so during all 4 pregnancies. your bump will tell you when you can't as it will just get in the way!!

no harm at all

your baby is protected by the amniotic sac , fluid, the uterus, which is a thick muscular wall, your own body fat, and in all likelihood, the uterus is still low in the pelvis, so is protected by that too !

you will be fine... you might be uncomfortable sleeping on your tummy later on. but you cannot hurt your baby by doing so

God I wish someone had told me what Lulu just said - I LOVE sleeping on my stomach but stopped the second I found out I was pg at 5 weeks

First night post-birth - slept on tum, absolute sheer bliss

I slept on my tummy until 7 or 8 months, but only for short periods of time. DH took a picture of me at 8 months, on a blanket in the garden, sunning myself, laid on my tummy at 8 months. I look like a beetle on it's back, struggling around

Perfectly safe, just may not be that comfortable with tender boobs and an expanding bump
