I'm having a bit of an odd, anxious day. I'm 8+1 today and last year I had a mmc and the baby stopped growing at 8+1. I was awake for a long time in the night and I think it's just been on my mind.

I had a scan last week at 7+1 and everything was great but it's hard not to worry as I'd had a scan at 6+1 last time and the heart was beating away.

Please help me give me head a wobble.

Sorry you are feeling anxious. As I understand it if you have seen a heartbeat the chance of miscarriage goes right down, and most people who suffer miscarriages go on to have healthy pregnancies. I know it can be hard though to get your feelings to be logical! Maybe look after yourself with things you know you'll find comforting and relaxing - bath, well loved book or film, old friend to chat to, comfort food etc. Hope things go well for you - only a few weeks of the first trimester to go xx

I know how stressful this time can be, I hated the first trimester and was willing it to be over.

Just try and remember the chances of everything being just fine are much higher and in your favour! I don't think anything will completely put you at ease but try and think positive - many more pregnancies end in healthy babies than not.

Try and enjoy it (easier said than done I know) Flowers
