Had a bit of pinky discharge a couple of times today after bowel movements. It seems to stop after a couple of minutes and only after I've had a poo.

I've had multiple miscarriages before though and I am scared to death of seeing any kind of pink/red/brown.

I'm thinking of going to the EPU and asking them to scan me/do bloods to check everything is still okay.

Am I being ridiculous?

No not at all. Iv had repeated miscarriages to & I phoned them with any spotting or blood and they scanned me.
Puts your mind at rest x

Could it be hemorrhoids or a fissure, seeing it only happens a bowel mouvement?

Of course YANBU always follow your instincts x

Thanks all. I've telephoned the EPU now and they aren't concerned as it was a tiny amount after BM and has now stopped. They've told me to come in if I'm still worried (or it starts again) but it doesn't sound like anything sinister. So feel a bit better.

I've had small amounts of spotting in this pregnancy (I'm 10+4) EPU have scanned me 3 times as I've had previous MC's and all has been found to be okay, but they really helped to put my mind at ease. I'd say if you get anymore then ring them but if it's only a small amount after a BM, I wouldn't be overly concerned.

You can always still go for the reassurance x

are you on progesterone? If not I would go in and ask to be prescribed it for the spotting. There is evidence it can help, take a look on the Tommys website, there is useful info on there.
