Movement at 20 weeks

Hi,

I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant (first baby).
Some days I feel baby movement & I'm very aware of it. Then the next day I don’t feel much at all .. if any?!
I was told movement at this stage can be very inconsistent. I have a friend who is a midwife & she told me it’s nothing to worry about. She checked the heartbeat which was fine.
20 week scan tomorrow.
I don’t want to keep asking her about it & sound absolutely neurotic if it is normal.
Anyone else experienced this ?

So normal, I think they say 26 - 28 weeks where you should get in to a pattern of feeling movements but that being said I never did throughout the whole pregnancy but I did have an anterior placenta. Do you know where you placenta is ?

@MamaMama20 unfortunately not, nothing on my 12w scan regarding the placenta. 20w scan tomorrow so I’m sure they will inform me if i did ?

Yeah they should tell you tomorrow the location of the placenta.
Good luck!!

Very normal, I remember calling midwife at 21 weeks to say the same thing. It might be worth you trying to take notice of how busy and distracted you are. I found the days I had less obvious movement turned out to be days I was on my feet at lot rushing around...whereas if I was sat at the computer all day with not much to do I would notice it a lot more.
