I did just fine with massive granny pants from good old M&S!

Mummyspider27 · 05/02/2020 19:55

I just wore big ones last time and they were fine, just heard a few people say they really helped with comfort, healing etc so wondered if anyone else had. If not... back to Primark I go! X

I just got a pack of granny pants in few sizes to big. 13 days since c section, its all I wear at the moment they are so comfy!

I didn't use any special ones when I had my emergency c-section. Everything tight would bother me and cause more pain.

I guess something comfortable and possibly cotton to let the scar breath.

I didn't find them useful either because I had crazy night sweats after giving birth. So tight pants meant everything was hot, compressed and sweaty, which is the last thing you want around a surgical wound! The only time I needed pressure was when pooing and holding a rolled up sweater against the scar helped a lot.

I just wore big M&S maternity knickers and they were fine.
