So I've gone to cook my tea I needed something easy was going to cook fish cakes and in the ingredients It shows yeast extract and I've googled and can't really seem to see if it's safe some say not?!?

Does anyone have any info? 🤦🏽‍♀️ Safe to say I put the fish cake back for the moment!

Yeast extract is just something like marmite and of course it's ok to eat

Stick to the nhs pregnancy info

I eat marmite every couple of days which is straight yeast extract! It's totally fine, has b-vitamins.
if you are prone to candida, it could cause a thrush infection, but this is the only potential issue! If this is the case, just don't have yeast extract every day!

Check out the NHS website. There are hardly any foods you need to avoid. Just stick to their list and don't drive yourself mad googling every ingredient
