Can you get pregnant on the implant please read I'm so stressed ! Pictures in post I got one bfp and then took one straight after and it was a bfn

I had my daughter at 24 weeks she was under 1lbs she's my world and she's had a awful fight to be here she's in a lot of medication and oxygen and she's 24 hour care around the clock after I had her I got the conceptive implant in because my hormones were all over and I didn't want to go through it all again just yet well we finally got home after 156days In hospital couple 2 months ago then I started having swore nipples and spotting obviously put it down as period but I felt funny and took a test well 2 I got a big fat positive and took one again five mins after and got a bfn iv got the implant in and had it in since I give birth to my baby girl so do you think it's just a false positive ? I'm so confused now I tried 10 years to fall pregnant with my daughter iv got fertility issues surely someone with fertility problems and who is on the implant has a 0 percent chance of pregnancy! I'd absolutely die if I was pregnant

Was the second test with the same wee? Just thinking 5 minutes isn’t long to need to go again

That top test looks positive but the line does look a bit wonky. I think you need to retest

My positive looked like that on a clear blue and I thought it was a dye run but , 10 weeks 4 days later I’m definitely pregnant . I’d do a first response and maybe even a digital to be sure

The positive looks pretty positive to me. Did you use the same urine sample for each one or did you re-wee? If you re-wee'd it's possible your urine was too dilute the second time round to show a bfp.

I'd get another test (FRER) and try again to be sure.

It is very unlikely to be a false positive. I would get another test, probably a first response, and take it first thing in the morning tomorrow.

I got pregnant on the implant but it happened straight away the first month, I think it was faulty or improperly implanted. I did get 4 bfp's but no bfn's.

How long have you had it in, and when is it due to expire? Could they have made a mistake and told you it was 5 year but it's 3 for example?

If I were you I'd test again tomorrow with first morning urine which is concentrated, and if I got another bfp go to your GP and ask for a blood test. Im very sorry you've had such a bad time with your baby girl, no wonder you are so upset x

I had my daughter in June the 21st I got the implant in 2 weeks after she was born so it's been in for nearly 7 month

Are you ok OP? That test is pretty positive. When I was having DD2 I did one test which was positive and then sent DH out to get another and it was negative - my wee just wasn’t concentrated enough after that short time for the HCG to register. I would pop out and get another test and take first thing in the morning. Hope you get the answer you want
