Breech at 34 weeks

Just had my 34 week midwife appointment and apparently baby is currently breech (head up). I thought this might be the case as there is definitely a hard lump near the top of my bump but I was hoping it might be a bottom!

I am really hoping for a home birth so I was wondering how many people have had a breech at this stage which later turned and if there is anything I can do to expedite this!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I’m 34 weeks & also just been told baby is breech. Also not hugely surprised as everything I’ve ever thought was a kick is on my lower right side! I had a 4D scan that showed baby was breech at 29 weeks but I wasn’t too concerned at that stage as the week before she was transverse so def still moving around at that point.

If you google flipping a breech baby, there are so many suggestions, I’ve been having a potter through.. I’ve been told at 36 weeks, they’ll check again & then refer on if needed. My midwife seemed to think there was still ‘plenty of time’ so we’ll see I suppose! Babies general movements are blooming uncomfortable, bordering on painful though, so I dread to think what an entire flip will feel like 😬

Yep I was breech at 35 weeks. It turned during 36 weeks and then flipped back to breech! At my 39+ appt midwife referred me for a scan and the baby had turned again to be head down. I am now 40+12.
Please don't worry - you have plenty of time. If your baby is still breech at next appt ask for a scan to confirm. Thanks

Big curry and go to the cinema one last time. Was like having a washing machine on spin cycle in my tummy through out the whole film, but she was no longer breech.

Mine never turned, despite 2 ecvs, spinning babies exercices, acupuncture etc. He was breech throughout the whole pregnancy. If I have another breech baby, I won't try anything to make it turn... I think they just turn when they're ready and if they want to. Good luck!
