Hi there! I am 20 weeks preggo and I have suspected spd - pain in pelvis when walking and is getting worse. From what I've read, I think it's probably spd but am not an expert. I'm interested in any reccos for a chiro / osteo / physio that specialises in this, in north ish London (Islington, Stoke Newington Church Street, kings cross etc). Any help most welcome! :)

Sorry to hear you're struggling, @Mammyyy - hopefully someone will be along soon with some advice. Flowers

Hi. Try looking into the pelvic partnership website. They have a few physio over there recommend by others, in different areas. They should all do hands on therapy.

Thank you! I am seeing a Chiro at Islington chiro clinic who is brilliant and sorting me out. Would highly reccommend :)

I have 14th weeks (first pregnancy) and the pain in pelvic and pubic area esp left side straight last week. It is quite painfully to walk. Spoke to my mid wife and she is said it's too early for PGP to start and it's unfortunate. She has asked me to see my GP? Has anyone experienced the pain as early as second trimester ? In meantime can anything be done to get relief ? Just getting concerned , don't want to get bedridden.

I have a few friends who experienced it in their second trimester and me too! At 20 weeks. My midwife couldn’t help. I am now seeing a chiropractor every week who is helping enormously - there are deffo things you can do - chiro, physio etc.
