Morning girls.
Just curious if anyone actually waited till the 25th week to tell there employer about pregnancy?
I'm currently 21 weeks and my employers don't know yet.
Reason being for this is I work with immature people and would sooner just be able to tell them last minute, to save myself feeling rubbish about having to go to work.
I know it sounds bad, but I'm very close friends with my dep manager and she is currently on maternity leave, I told her about this for some advice and she said if she wasn't a manager she would of left it until last minute to, because she knows how some of the girls made her feel during her pregnancy.
Most of the people I work with either have no kids and just live alone, so there not very maternal so I would prefer to do it late as I possibly could.
just wondered if anyone else has actually told there employer late on and how it went??

Make sure u use ur maternity calculator on gov.uk as although it says 25 weeks with the way government work pregnancy weeks can be more like 24 and half weeks that u have to tell them and also give them ur mat b1 form to claim maternity pay
