Hi girls. I'm so sad, I got a faint positive on 26th Jan and as the week progressed, so did my lines (all on frer) On Friday I got a really strong positive and did a clear blue digital that said "Pregnant 1-2 weeks" we were over the moon!!
On Monday morning, I woke up and saw the left over frer on my bedside table so decided to take it. To my shock, it was super faint..almost negative. I am beside myself, I have took another 3 frers yesterday morning..all the same. This morning's is even fainter.
I haven't got any signs of bleeding and my cramping is just the same as it has been for weeks..mild
I had a hcg blood test don't yesterday afternoon after I spoke to my gp about it but won't get results for a couple if days and even then, I would need to repeat to compare. I should be coming up to 5 weeks now.
Is this it? Should I expect to pass the baby? Xx

I’m so sorry, it sounds like a chemical.

I had one.

In my experience, at five weeks it’ll be mostly like a normal period. The emotional toll might be harder, though x

Thanks for your reply. That's what I'm dreading. I've got 3 children and have never experienced this before. It's such a horrible feeling
How long till the bleeding starts? X

If it is a chemical, it will most likely just be like a heavy period, that’s what my experience was anyway. There’s no ‘passing the baby’ so to speak as it never got into an established pregnancy, hopefully that makes you feel a bit better. In my experience the bleeding started very quickly. It’s not a definite for you though.

Hopin4no4 · 04/02/2020 08:19

Thanks twinkle.
I'm kind if hoping it starts quickly if it's going to happen. At least then, I won't be in such limbo. My tiredness stopped on Saturday, I woke up and felt different. I was worried something like this was going to happen x

It does sound like an early loss, I'm sorry Flowers the bleeding will start after the tests go completely blank. If you get a totally negative test tomorrow morning I'd expect bleeding that evening or by the next day. It should be too painful at this stage but get some nurofen in and take it easy.

Hopin4no4 · 04/02/2020 09:21

@itscallednickingbentcoppers thanks for the advice. This is all new to me. Just got to wait for the inevitable I suppose. My cramping has stepped up a bit this morning, don't think it will be long. Xx

I’m very sorry, but this happened to me with my first pregnancy. Tested every morning for 2 weeks with FRER, line was progressing (but having had a normal pregnancy now I can see they weren’t progressing as well as they could’ve). I stopped for about 4/5 days as didn’t want to buy more. One morning I took my last digi to see if I could get the 2-3 and it was negative. It took a week after getting the negative before I miscarried. I did pass ‘the baby’ as well as general clots and blood. My pain wasn’t too bad, but everyone goes through this differently.

I’m very sorry OP Flowers

Thank you keyboard. I know it's very common but it's still tough on us when it happens. I'm sorry you went through that 💔
I know what you mean about the lines. With my other pregnancies the lines have always started off stronger than this one did. I was hoping it was just late implantation that caused it but that was just wishful thinking. Thank you for your kind words ladies xx

It’s an awful experience. Please don’t do what I did and not grieve ‘because it’s so early’ or it’s happens all the time’ as that messed me up emotionally for months and months. A loss is a loss. Take the time and look after yourself my lovely Xx

Hopin4no4 · 04/02/2020 11:11

Thank you, that means alot ❤❤ xx

I’m sorry OP :( please look after yourself and do whatever you feel you need to do. If it’s painful do take painkillers, don’t suffer anymore than you already are. Sending hugs and love your way Flowers Xxxx

Lots of love OP xx
