Hi everyone,
I'm 18 weeks pregnant, and for the last few days i've been having on and off awful shooting pains under my left breast, in what feels like my heart. They come and go but they're getting more and more painful. I've had no other symptoms other than that but it is agonising. I went to two pharmacists, one said try peppermint incase it's wind and it's not even touched the pain i'm in, said to go to the walk in centre at my local hospital, and the other said to go to A&E. Which one would you guys recommend going to tomorrow, A&E or the walk in centre? Many thanks

Hey Ellie. Sorry to hear about your pain.
I would highly recommend going into the hospital asap. I don't want to cause panic, but with a pregnant woman complaining of chest pain, the most important thing to rule out is a pulmonary embolism, which is a very serious medical condition.
Once this has been ruled out, we can then entertain other things like wind or a chest infection.

Meant to say A&E
