Are they actually dangerous? I love a hot bath 😱😫

I have kept my baths around 35 degrees maximum and these have been ok. It's to keep your core temperature at a stable temperature for your baby.

Oh I’ve never measured the temp! I’m used to lovely hot baths 😭 x

Ive been having them the whole time (now 20 + 3). I hate showers. I believe its okay as unlike a hot tub the temperature naturally cools as long as you are not topping up the hot water. Just don't have it so hot that you are sweating or it turns your skin red.

If you have it too hot it can affect your blood pressure. I made the mistake of having one too hot and ended up feeling really dizzy and sick afterwards. It took me hours to get back to normal, I never made that mistake again!

I liked mine quite hot OP, but toned it down after a dizzy spell much like Zebrapig described. I always made sure the door was unlocked too. As someone else mentioned, not everyday and not hot enough to change the colour of your skin.

I was told baths as per your usaul are absolutely fine because they gradually reduce in temperature. I've been told throughout pregnancy to use them for SPD, pain relief etc.

Hot Tubs are a no-go because the temperature stays constant.
