Hiding the ever swelling tum?!

I'm already a size 16 and very curvy and generally wear fitted dresses to show my slimmer waist but atm I'm living in smock type dresses, I'm 10+4 so got another 2 weeks of hiding before the 12 weeks scan and don't really want to tell anyone until then. Any fashion tips particularly office wear that will hide my ever growing gut! 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

I'm a big fan of scarfs at the minute. The long ones you can just drape round your neck. Our office is pretty cold she airforce is ALWAYS on and our team sits directly under it, that way you can still wear your usual attire the but scarf just flows over your belly and hides it lovey.

My boobs also stick out more than my belly so I'm wearing a lot of blouses so again it just flows.

Scarves and baggy jumpers!

BabyB19 · 01/02/2020 09:25

@Workplaceworries @Bezalelle I should have mentioned my office is super hot 🤦🏽‍♀️ I have a fan and the window open constantly I could maybe manage a light cardigan and scarf at a push 🤦🏽‍♀️ 🤣 thanks ladies, the days are going by so slow I can't wait to tell everyone so I can just wear what I want again!

Nobody will notice.... And if they do they're unlikely to ask for fear of offending you.

BabyB19 · 01/02/2020 09:31

@00100001 a girl has already asked my friend, nobody has asked to my face though 🤣

So what if they see? Do you think they’ll actually ask you to your face?

BabyB19 · 01/02/2020 09:44

@Clangus00 no. But I would like to tell my own family and close friends first.

I'm 12 weeks today and going for the layering look.....shirts, cardigans, colourful scarfs. Not baggy but not tight fitting either if you know what I mean.
Also busy patterns!

BabyB19 · 01/02/2020 10:30

@sel2223 ohh busy patterns I didn't think of that! Thank you! I'll have to have a dig through and see what loose combos I've got to get the next two weeks done!

I layered up, wore scarves and cami tops which are usually very loose and hang from your boobs rather than the fabric tuck under your boobs. After I told people some had guessed more because the way I dressed rather than the bump itself though so a sudden fashion shift to loose and layered clothes might make people notice more Smile

BabyB19 · 01/02/2020 17:58

Thanks @Rebecca612 I am conscious of that too 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣 at least it's only another 2 weeks and then I don't care who sees x
