Hi guys, long story.
I had what I was told was a misscarriage at around 7 weeks at the beginning of December, scan showed it was complete.
Since then I have had continued bleeding, mainly heavy, some days spotting, pelvic pain ranging from mild to severe as well as lower back pain.
I am currently on 2 lots of antibiotics as gp thinks it's an infection.
The past 3 days the pain is worse, lower abdomen and back as well as pain that feels like it's in my bum, I'm doubled over with it. Bleeding is fairly heavy but im also really bloated and alot of flactulance 🙈
I'm worrying my self that its something worse but then I have only been on antibiotics for 4 days and have 2 weeks worth so also thinking maybe I need to give them more time. Gp is going to request a scan in 2 weeks if it dosent settle.
I'm panicking that it is ectopic but surely they would have seen that when I had a scan? I would be about 15 weeks now
Any advice would really help. Thanks so much.

You need to go to A&E. Pain that is leaving you doubled over needs to be assessed by a doctor. Fifteen weeks would be extremely late for an ectopic to present. I'm wondering if it's possible that you have conceived since your miscarriage.

The pain you describe along with the pain in your bottom and flatulence sounds very like my ruptured ectopic. I also had bouts of diarrhoea. Please get seen tonight ThanksThanks

I second that advice to go to AxE. Sounds like an infection and needs powerful antibiotics. Wish you better soon.xxx

Iv also had diarrhea. Definitely havent conceived since as wasnt planned and had depo injection 2 weeks after. I also took 2 more tests 2 weeks ago that were negative although I'm also reading that in some cases they are if it is ectopic

@Rebecca3127 How are you this morning? Did you go to A&E?

Rebecca3127 · 01/02/2020 09:03

Hi. No I slept a few hours and slightly less pain at the minute, although I havent got up yet, I'm going to leave it a few hours then maybe ring 111 if still bad but the negative test is kind of telling me I could be over reacting 🤦‍♀️

Well I'm glad that you're in a little less pain. However I do still think you need to be seen.

Maybe there are some retained products which are causing the bleeding.

Rebecca3127 · 01/02/2020 10:23

That's what gp thought when she gave me antibiotics but alot worse since then, constant bleeding for 8 weeks since misscarriage, I'm just so fed up
