Hey guys, I done a urine test myself as I have the test strips at home.. I ate some sweet stuff during the day but before I ate them the test was normal then later on I tested again (it showed a slight trace of ketone I think) so I wanted to recheck.. Then it showed a slight trace of glucose even thought it was normal earlier??? CONFUSED 🙄 why was it clear one minute then slightly darker an hour or 2 after? And what it ketones help me 😭 I'm also 29 weeks pregnant and had the GTT 2 weeks ago and it was clear. I'm on iron tablets and had the flu vaccine that won't affect the results would It lol 😜🥺

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think if you're asking these questions, I assume you're not a medic? In which case why on earth would you test your own urine?

Jaydemeehan33 · 31/01/2020 21:43

Eh no I'm not but anyone can test there own urine FYI 😊 I've even asked my doctor is it okay and she said it's totally normal because your literally just reading results of a stick.. Its not rocket science 😜

It’s never a good idea to test those sort of things at home unless you’re a medic or have a medical condition meaning you have to test and even then you’re trained in it (like diabetes etc ). Why are you doing it ? It’s unnecessary stress and worry !

Sorry cross posted with you . Fair enough

Jaydemeehan33 · 31/01/2020 22:16

No it's fine, it has stressed me out and I'm kinda mad I done it now 🤣 my doctors clinic is closed for the weekend so I've to wait till Monday which isn't ideal lol
