Elective C section

I was planning on giving birth at a birthing centre. However now my care has changed to consultant lead after a stint in hospital so I won’t be able to give birth there anymore.

I’m now considering an elective c section for the reason I was in hospital, I think the birth will be compromised by the babies condition and I will have an unplanned or potentially emergency one anyway.

Of course I will get the consultants opinion on this, but I just wondered if anyone has also had to drastically change their plans? It’s made me feel really anxious about the birth now

I found out at approx 32 weeks I would have to have a c section. I couldn’t praise my c section highly enough. There were about 20 staff in the room and they were all incredibly kind. I felt safe the whole time and it was a beautiful experience.
