Due date and how pregnant I am, really confused

Hi
I’m totally confused has anyone had anything like this,?
We only had sex twice in December 6th & 19th
The first day of my last period was the 25th November,
I did a pregnancy test on the 19th December which was negative, and a test on the 23rd December that said pregnant 2-3 weeks.
So I assumed I was about 8 /9 weeks this week about, but had to have an early scan due to bleeding and on the 28th January she dated me at 6weeks +2
I’m totally confused, has anyone had anything similar?

I had an early scan at about 6 weeks and it dated me back a week. I knew it was wrong and they are quite inaccurate due to how small it is at that early stage. Annoyingly they used this to schedule my 12 week scan so I was over 13 weeks when I had it. I paid for a private earlier scan and was told I was 12 weeks 1 day which matched my dates. I still had over a week until my nhs scan and when I did have it they agreed within one day of what the private scan dated me.

Yes I had a scan that dated me behind , when you have an early scan they find it hard to measure as it’s so small. Don’t worry :) huge congratulations! xxx

I conceived on 15th December, date of my last period was 28th November and I tested positive on 24th December - I’m 9 weeks. Don’t know if that helps at all, but very similar dates.

Most early scans date you behind in my edperience. I was pushed back 5 days but when I went for my 12 week the doctor had no interest in that date and used my LMP and measurement s

Scans aren’t very accurate at six weeks because the baby is so tiny. That’s why they don’t officially date you until the 12 week scan.

Thank you I thought the scan at 6 weeks although I’d say more 8 weeks could have been not that accurate but my mind has been blown and now I’m totally confused, I think from my dates 8 and 2/3 days
