I know everyone is probably nervous about this one...I just feel like I don’t even want to go. Scan is next week and feels like tomorrow and years away all at once. Anyone have any tips for dealing with pregnancy anxiety?

I can't give you any tip as I'm 33 weeks and still get like this. Hopefully you'll find a stage you're comfortable and enjoy your prrgnancy

I'm in the same boat as you too, I've got a 20 week scan next Friday and I'm dreading it. Time is dragging and it's making me nervous!

Mine is in just under two weeks.. I feel your pain ladies! Terrified something is wrong or I'm suddenly not pregnant anymore (ridiculous I know 😂)

Hiya lovely!

I had my 20 week scan on Thursday, and like you I was honestly so terrified! To the point when the scan started I didn't even look at the screen until the midwife started to say everything was okay!
I know it's so hard to not panic and worry but try to stay calm, you don't want to stress yourself out because that's not good for the baby!
As much as it's hard just try to think about what you have and know right now, and that's a baby growing❤️
I hope all goes well xx

Yes! We've dubbed it Scan-iexty.
After the 12 weeks I was buzzing letting myself get all excited but the closer it gets to the 20 week scan the more anxious I get.
Mine is on Monday and I just want it over with

I had this, now at 30 weeks I feel much more relaxed about them. Unfortunately at our 20 week scan they found a small abnormality which was talipes in one foot. On the initial scan day I cried and cried as they thought the abnormalities May be more severe and I was in shock. Two days later we had a specialist scan and what I realised is that I love my baby and it's wonky foot makes no difference. Luckily they confirmed at this stage they think the only problem is the talipes.

I'm saying this not to worry you, but to say that although it is scary we're really lucky to have scans to be able to find out as much as possible before our babies are here.

Good luck - I'm sure everything will be fine. 💚
