Waiting to miscarry?

Hi everyone

I’m 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant today via IUI. I had my HCG levels taken this week and they were low and showed minimal change:

Monday (4 weeks): 42.1
Wednesday (4 weeks, 2 days): 45.4

I don’t recall my progesterone levels but my dr was very happy with them.

I had a scan today and the Dr said it was inconclusive. He couldn’t locate a pregnancy yet in my uterus, or in my tubes (ectopic pregnancy).

With my low HCG levels barely rising, should I just be waiting to miscarry? This is my first pregnancy after 2 other failed IUIs. I’ve no known fertility issues, we’re just a lesbian couple. My wife and I are absolutely devastated and feel in limbo whilst we wait for my bloods to be tested again tomorrow.

Please help.

Hi love, no experience in the department as I conceived differently so didn't get the early checks. I've had a miscarriage though and the first thing I knew of it was blood when I wiped. Then over 12 hours my symptoms went away (sore tits and nausea).
I know it's easy to say but you shouldn't worry too much at this stage. Hormone levels are all over the shop that early on, it's just so hard to tell. So don't write it off just yet.
Hang tight and be gentle to yourself. And don't Google symptoms! No good comes of that. Put on a film and have a nice evening with your wife.
