Measurement worries

When my midwife first measured me at 28 weeks I was measuring 30cm.

She measured me again at 31 weeks and I was measuring 33cm.

I was sent for a growth scan and baby was measuring fine.

I was sent for a second growth scan by the consultant a few weeks later and baby was following the growth line.

I’ve been to see midwife today, 35+5 weeks and I’m measuring 36cm.

I feel concerned about this as I’ve always been measuring 2cm above, and now I’m measuring exact.

Midwife didn’t seem concerned but I just feel like it’s a bit odd when I’ve been measuring 2cm ahead?

Anyone else experienced this?

It’s rubbish. Don’t worry about it. It means nothing imo.

I measured at least 2 weeks ahead with DS. He was born 2 weeks late at 7lbs.

With DD I measured 4 weeks ahead for a few weeks then it levelled up and I measured bang on up until my due date! I didn’t have a growth scan though. Was never offered one. She was born a week late at just under 8lbs so for me it meant nothing.

It’s also pretty inaccurate. I was measured twice within 24 hours. Once by my midwife at the doctors surgery then the next day at the hospital and the measurements were 2 weeks different.

It may have been because baby had a little growth spurt in there which has now levelled up.
