Bacterial vaginosis after section

Hi, apologies in advance for TMI!

I had a section 10 days ago and today have a mad 'tickle' down there. Bleeding has stopped and is just teeny tiny small amounts so not sure if it is just this.

I have had BV years ago and the internal tickle feels just like that - is this a thing after sections? No discharge of note.

What do i do? Can I buy over counter meds or should I wait to see midwife? Its driving me mad and not sure I want to wait 🤣🙈

BV has a very distinctive smell and a sticky greyish discharge. If you don’t have either of those then I would imagine it’s due to postnatal bleeding and your uterus shrinking back down. Some chemists sell BV tests but don’t know how valid they are postnatally.
