5dpo....TTC FIRST TIME
(Sorry if wrong topic)

hey girls,

So 1DPO - 4dpo I’ve spent the last 4 days in my bed, nauseous, feeling like I have the flu and a horrible sore throat.

I know people have told me it’s too early to get symptoms but I’ve read other girls have had this too.

I was so run down I was off work.

This morning 5dpo I woke up around 5am with sudden nausea but wasn’t sick. I also had a short stabbing pain on my lower back.

Also my face all around my mouth has completely broke out it’s sore and it’s a mess.

Does this sound like early
Pregnancy or am I just coming down with something and over thinking?

@RMusic12 hey! First of all - good luck!!!

Secondly, I remember the 2 ww as we did it for 9 months solid and every month I was sure I was pregnant as some new weird and wonderful symptom would crop up! I am pregnant now, 10 weeks! Fingers crossed it all goes well!

I was always advised don't read into it, the best symptom is a BFP! HOWEVER, I also didn't heed this advice and spent every waking moment during the 9 months googling symptoms and signs. I can say, the month I did get pregnant I had super sore breasts like 1 DPO until I got my BFP! But nothing else!

Around 5/6 weeks I started with nausea and retching, and my skin which is usually super clear was SO SO SPOTTY!

So again, fingers crossed and I would say don't drive your self mad with googling but I would be a hypocrite if I did.

First of all congrats on starting your journey , it’s an emotional but exciting one .
Around 5DPO you could potentially be implanting which can cause a stabbing pain but from experience the best thing to do in the 2ww is keep busy , don’t symptom spot and it won’t change anything , it won’t make any any more pregnant . So try and switch off and don’t google things and hopefully around 12DPO you will get your BFP . Good luck ! X

At 5dpo any fertilised egg would have become a blastocyst and just about made it down your fallopian tube into your uterus, but it would be unlikely that implantation would yet have even begun - so, extremely unlikely that you'd be feeling any symptoms associated with it.
