I'm 15+3 and have noticed I'm getting migraines more frequently. I've had 2 so far this week. I am at risk of preeclampsia and have high blood pressure.

Is this something I should contact my midwife about?

I would contract your midwife to put your mind at ease.

Usually preclamsia doesn't develop until after 20 weeks, and certainly with me I had a constant headache not a migraine!

I hope you feel better

Hi,

I suffered with this. My morning sickness was brief but I had frequent severe migraine / headaches with vomiting.

It might not be for everyone but I found an amazing acupuncturist (she was an ex midwife and specialised in antenatal practice) and it honestly sorted me out after the first session! I had sessions every 2 weeks or so and found the process amazing. Reflexology could also help if you don't fancy needles?

I'm sorry you're suffering. Hopefully it'll pass quickly.

I was absolutely fine during the first trimester but then got headaches from about 14 ish weeks until 19-hoping they have stopped now. They would last a few days then have a few days without the come back. I also am at risk of pre eclampsia but think that’s further on in pregnancy. Good luck
