TMI 41wks - irritation on labia

Sorry for TMI, and a name change for this cos I'm embarrassed!

I'm 41 wks on Thursday. Over the weekend I used my usual hair trimmer to tidy my bikini line a bit, which of course I was doing 'blind'. I managed to scratch the skin (never happened before) slightly, right in the join of my left thigh and my lady bits. I treated it with tcp, and no problem. I've now just woken up aware that my outer labia on that side was sore and, having a feel (I can't see it!), it feels inflamed in the same way the scratch was at the weekend, as though there is somehow another scratch there?! I'm aware that I could in theory go into labour any minute, and don't want this to cause any issues!

Should I call the surgery in the morning and see if I can get a nurse to look at it, or a midwife, or call maternity triage? I don't know what to do, or if I'm over-reacting. Thanks.

Could it be an ingrown hair?

@Fedupofitnow123 Thanks hun - unlikely, as I've only trimmed hair down there, never shaved. It feels like a larger area than that too.

Any further thoughts this morning, please? Should I call the surgery, midwives at the day assessment unit or try not to worry about it? Thanks.
