Spotting after sex

Have any of you experienced spotting immediately after sex? I’m 8+2 and have only just summoned up the courage to have sex (due to anxiety around miscarriage, mad I know). Worried now.

Can be perfectly normal. Don't worry. Just keep an eye on it in case it gets heavy. I bled after sex in early pregnancy due to the position of my placenta but it hasn't been an issue.

Thanks @Engard, I know everyone says it’s normal to bleed in pregnancy but when it happens to you it seems like the most abnormal (and worrying) thing! It didn’t happen again last night but I’ve had a few tiny pin pricks of blood today so trying not to worry, it’s hardly anything. Could be caused by a number of things...

One thing I’d say is that I had spotting after sex at 22 weeks and as I was rhesus negative, I had to have an anti D injection. Not sure if it’s the same for earlier in the pregnancy. Might be worth checking.

I was the same and it took a while to have sex for the first time, and i had some slight spotting too, just straight after when I went to the loo and wiped.
After googling (Blush) it seems to be common but I am gonna mention at my next midwife appointment in a couple of weeks when I'm 16 weeks
