Hey OP

just having a little scroll tonight and come across your thread, I am only 8 weeks pregnant with my first but I have been chatting to my sister about "things to do" as I get further along.

What about cinema or out for a nice meal with some mocktails? I've done this already, some mocktails were actually really nice! congrats on the pregnancy too Smile x

I don’t know about you, but I feel loads worse in the evening. Could you do a nice day out instead of evening, lunch or even a spa morning/afternoon?
We have a spa day booked in a few weeks!

babymumma21 · 09/02/2020 10:06

Thank you 😊

We did try to get out and by the time I had my shower and done my hair I was so tired and so so sore I had to lie down think I just now need to come to terms I have left it too late to get another date night in, we will get one again one day lol

Thanks again for your help

I'm 34 weeks and I felt like I also needed a date night but the thought of it is so exhausting lol! We were discussing valentines and we said we will just have a nice meal at home in pjs so I'm comfortable lol!

babymumma21 · 09/02/2020 18:41

Think that's what we are doing to I finish up work on Friday so we will just be having cosy nights in from now on I'm just getting to tired very easily and get very uncomfortable so I'm not going to go out and be uncomfortable all night lol my partner is great in not bothered about us going out as long as we spend time together in the house lol

OP posts:
sjmco · 10/02/2020 10:29

I also finish work on Friday and we have said the exact same thing... my partner is the same he is quite happy chilling at home and just enjoying each other's company.
I too am so uncomfortable.... I go from the bed, to the sofa, to the chair! Just can't get comfy! When are you due?

babymumma21 · 10/02/2020 11:00

Awww I know that feeling all to well then when I do get comfortable I to get up to go to the loo lol the joys I suppose

I am due 21st of March
But I have gestational diabetes so I need to go on the 19th for a scan and they are going to decide if baby is coming early,

What about yourself when you due?

OP posts:
sjmco · 10/02/2020 12:54

Yesss that happened last night! After so long trying to get comfy when it finally happened I was so annoyed I needed the loo!!

My due date was the 20th March but I was booked in for my csection last week for the 18th March! I honestly cannot wait!!

babymumma21 · 10/02/2020 15:44

It is the most annoying thing ever lol all worth it lol

Aw that's so exciting so few weeks of getting to relax then baby will be here 😊 is this your first? Nice to know a plan so you know what is happening, can't wait to find out what is happening when I go to my next appointment

OP posts:
sjmco · 10/02/2020 19:38

How you doing @babymumma21 how's your week been with stopping working now?
I've been mega bored!! Thought I would be enjoying it but don't know what to do with myself 😂

babymumma21 · 21/02/2020 18:03

Hey @sjmco yeah it's been nice to be finished but I'm the same bored out my mind I'm really not used to sitting about doing nothing I'm usually on the go but been trying to rest it's difficult lol how u been doing?

OP posts:
sjmco · 21/02/2020 20:51

It is isn't it... my partner is like just enjoy it! But like you I'm always on the go so the whole staying at home is getting to me! We should really enjoy our time while we can.

I'm almost done with the baby's room... just got couple bits left to do next week... need to find myself a hobby 😂

babymumma21 · 22/02/2020 13:42

My partner says the same he keeps say this is what u need to do is rest it's best for u in a few weeks I won't be able to,

I think next week I'm going to try reading a lot and starting something new on Netflix just to keep myself busy, I managed to get baby's room finished during the week had to sort my kitchen I had to find a place for all the baby bottles etc lol but that's done now I'm so glad my partner is off for the weekend I have someone to talk to lol xx

OP posts:
sjmco · 23/02/2020 10:09

Yeah I'm currently living off Netflix! How sad 😂 I didn't actually think about making room in the kitchen for baby's bottles!! That could be my plan this week.

It's my birthday on Tuesday so I got something to look forward to this week... although I will be home alone all day and with no energy to do anything! Lol

babymumma21 · 23/02/2020 14:10

Lol not sad at all that's my life for the next few weeks too lol

I know I never thought of it till one day I realised baby's bottles where still in the room and reorganising the kitchen took some time so that was good lol 😂😂 that's something that u can do one afternoon to keep you busy!!!

Aww love happy birthday when it comes you should get out to the shop today get urself something nice for ur lunch that day and some pamper things and have urself a birthday pamper day throw in some wee sweet treats too xx

OP posts:
sjmco · 24/02/2020 09:31

Haha yeah it didn't even cross my mind! Will def be doing that one day this week.

Yeah that's not a bad idea actually.. I do need to pop out today so might get myself a few little pamper things and def some nice treats! I do a lot of baking so I thought of baking myself a huge cake haha

Here is to another week at home! 🥂

babymumma21 · 24/02/2020 20:06

Lol I think it's one of the things that must get over looked cos a few of my friends said that same thing they ever thought about sorting bottles either lol

Aww lovely I would kill for cake the now defo bake urself a lovely big cake hope u have a lovely time

I know today hasn't been too bad but I have slept a lot so that might be why lol x

OP posts:
babymumma21 · 25/02/2020 13:43

OP posts:
sjmco · 25/02/2020 15:23

Thank you my lovey! I've had a lovey day... ended up going out for lunch with my mum and nan and it was lovely! On my way home I decided to stop at the bakery and get myself a cupcake! Couldn't be bothered with all the hassle of making a cake lol
Tonight my partner is cooking my fav dinner, Mexican!! So I'm looking forward for that!
Hope your week is going well xxx
