Has anybody had a cervix that was funneling but found to be a good length?

This is what my ultrasound found yesterday but I'm feeling very confused as everything I can find online seems to put funneling along with a shortened cervix. I have been given steroids to boost the babys lungs and progesterone pressaries but I'm finding it difficult to understand how risky my pregnancy actually is at this stage.

How many weeks are you? What is your cervix length measuring at?
I have shortening and also on the progesterone pessaries which have paused the shortening and got me to 29 weeks so far.

I'm 24 weeks now and my cervix is 31mm. I'm going back for a scan in a couple of weeks to see how things are progressing. How long have you been on the pressaries?

I didn't have funelling but my cervix went from 3.4 to 2.4 in a week, so had steroids at 24 weeks and was given progesterone pessaries, had to use those three times a day until I was 36 weeks, signed off at 32 weeks because she was engaged and my cervix was very soft, but in the end although I started to dilate from when I stopped the pessaries she didn't arrive until 40+5!

Hope all goes well for both of you

I started on the pessaries at 22 weeks as my cervix was 25mm. The pessaries have made it maintain the same length- 29 weeks today and counting!
I have been prescribed them until 35 weeks but have also now been signed off work and resting up as a precaution.
31mm is a good length as they usually only offer treatment once you hit 25mm. Try and rest if you can!

Thanks annlee I'm so glad your LO managed to go to full term

Thanks Thomp I'm trying to stay off of my feet as much as possible and I'm just hoping it doesnt shorten. I hope your baby stays put for a good while longer as well. It sounds really good that your cervix hasnt got any shorter since starting the progesterone
