Help With Choosing a Car Sear

Hi there

Currently 15 weeks pregnant and looking at a car seat.

I’ll be buying a travel system that includes an infant car seat with ISOFIX base but looking for a 0-12y one of possible. I’m really stuck and have been trying to research but with moving, work, and college full time I’m exhausted !!

Car seat needs to be:

Suitable from birth to preferably 12yo
ERF until 4yo
ISOFIX base - I’m not fighting with a newborn and a seatbelt!!
Suitable for tall baby’s. I’m 5’10 and DP is 6’3 - I assume we’ll have a long baby :)
Budget of around £200(?)

Thanks everyone! I’m a first time mum :)

Also any other items that you can suggest that’s worth it is highly appreciated x

I think the Joie Every Stage would fit that list of needs. It rear faces until 18kg which was around 3.5 for my daughter.

I would research safety tests on them though because I haven't looked. I've got the britax dual-fix and will buy a high backed booster once he's grown out of it.

Something else to consider is will the car seat still be usable after so long? Will it be swapped about in other cars? I mean 12 years of everyday in and out of the car is a lot of a battering!
