3 days missed period - BFN :(

Hello!
Just want to post to rant and stop myself going crazy with the unknown.

I had one shot of the Depo-injection and I came off it December 3rd. I didnt like the Depo, made me moody and very emotional.
Since then boyfriend and I have been dtd unprotected (hopefully to conceive but we're just going by 'if it happens, it happens'), but on gootle i've heard it can take fertility a while to come back after depo but there are mixed stories.

Anyway, I had a period which lasted 5 days and started on christmas eve. But I havent had one as of yet this month.

Of course I could be symptom spotting (probably am) but i've been feeling nauseaus on the odd occassion, tingly boobs, and lots of CM (so much that I think AF has come but when i look in the knickers it's either creamy, white CM, or watery CM)

Ive been fighting the urge to test thinking it's impossible to be pregnant so soon after the depo and it's probably the coming off the depo causing the missed period and symptoms but I caved in and took a tear at about 8pm tonight - and it was a BFN. Not even a slight faint line. Just nothing. It made me feel sad

Just posting for opinions. I know it's probably depo and im trying not to get hopes high

Btw the test I used was Clear Blue 1 minute Rapid Response

I found the depo massively messed up my cycles when I was ttc no1 despite moving from that to the pill for 3 months and then doing 3 months with just condoms before actively trying to let the hormones ‘wear off’ still took us 10 months to conceive. Synthetic hormones don’t agree with me at all though and I’ve never gone back to them. That said in 33 weeks with no2 and didn’t get a positive until 5 days late- also thought I was driving myself mad symptom spotting as I was having ridiculous hot flushes and very nauseous but turned out they were early symptoms! Sorry not much help but it of info from my experience of both for you!

Synthetic hormones did not agree with me either, I felt extremely depressed on the injection - crying all the time, not wanting to go to work and starting petty arguments with boyfriend (shocked he put up with it tbh), never ever will go back on it,

Thanks for telling me your story though :) i have ordered some first response and should be here tomorrow and if they come back negative, I will accept that the depo has probably messed up my cycle haha

It could still be just too early to test. From what I've seen and heard clear blue are better a few weeks int pregnancy as they're not very sensitive. Hope you get the result you want x

Still no AF and had a negative FRER this morning :(
