i did 2 pregnancy tests this morning both had a clear line then a very faint one so i bought a digital one that came up pregnant 1-2 weeks i contacted my drs as i have to go on clexane due to carrying the pro thrombin mutant gene ... the dr did a test this afternoon and one line came up she said negative told me to do another in morning ... as i left a faint line came up on test ... now im totally confused surely if negative it would have said that on the digital one? has anyone had the same experience?

Could it be that your urine wasn't as strong when you went to the Drs? Had you drank lots of water to make you wee? That could make the difference between you getting a positive in the morning and not getting one at the Drs.

Digitals are very accurate and it’s very very rare to get a false positive whereas it’s very common to get a false negative if your wee is too diluted early on .

I think you are pregnant but the doctors test is not the most sensitive plus as pp said your urine might be quite diluted. Try going in a day or two again to the doctor and take your tests with you.

Hi thanks for replies .. first wee today digital 1-2 weeks again and test dr gave me 1 line and a very faint one ..... will check again in a few days

Take a first morning sample to the gp the hormone is more concentrated in the first sample.

Sadly can never get in easily and just said if 2 lines bring back but 2nd line is so faint. But digital again says 1-2 weeks pregnant will do at weekend again if no period appears so frustrating

Hi, I had this last week. It maybe be that your hormone levels are so low (the hcg) as it could be really early days . Might be worth asking for blood tests. Wish you all the best x

@OP I guess that by Friday morning your test should be way darker. I would book an appointment for then.

I will test friday morning then ring up sadly our drs dont pre book u have to ring on the morning as hope u get in Fingers crossed

Did more tests last night with my bf one digital other just cheap tescos tests as u can see attached. Digital now 2-3 weeks ... did one before i rang drs today .. one pink and one faint line was told to do another next week if positive to make appointment give time for implantation

That is not at all faint! That is a very strong positive especially for a cheapie. Take these tests to the doctors with you!

registered at a new drs friday as decided i couldnt wait and the other practise was rude .. waiting for a midwife to ring today to get on clexane at new practise if other drs dont drag their feet sending my info over ..... but this morning did a test and i was 2-3 weeks last week now its 1-2 weeks starting to think after all the stress this pregnancy wont be viable ;( ordinary test coming up 2 lines still and no sign of bleeding

I had positives on digital and FRER for almost two weeks before the line started coming clear on a cheap test, I don't trust the cheap tests at all!

Hi OP, don't rely on the week indicator of CB. They're notorious for stressing people out. I think in some countries they are banning the week indicator

Well ... new drs still awaiting notes so ive asked for consultants letter to be faxed pronto .. waiting for a call and hopefully a prescription... meanwhile i noticed this today
