I'm going for an early scan tomorrow. I think I'm between 7.5-8 weeks. Do any of you have any scan photos from
around this time? Also, will it be done abdominally?

Probably will be done transvaginally at that stage. Mine was. Here is my scan pic at 7+2. The blob on the left is baby. Blob on right is sac. We also saw heartbeat fluttering away. Was incredible after our first round of ivf

Hellooo,

I had an eight week scan. It was done abdominally and I loved it. You can't see a huge amount but you can see a heart beat flickering and for me that's what made it's worth it's weight in gold.

I had one at 6 weeks 6 days, you couldn't see much but there was a heartbeat (but there isn't always one that early, so don't worry) They did it abdominally, but they said beforehand that if they couldn't find him then they'd have to go vaginally. I had a very full bladder, which probably helped! Good luck x

I had mine at about 6 and 9 so either side of you! It might be internal at that stage. Some places say before 10 weeks it will be. Go with a full bladder and ask for abdominal and see what happens. They can only do internal if you agree, but they might not seen enough abdominal xx

I had an early scan, they did it abdominal at first and we could see a flicker of a heartbeat. She then did it internally which was as they were double checking there wasnt an issue with a potential ectopic pregnancy as I was getting cramping on one side. But the view didnt really change you could still see our little bean with its heart flickering that was at what I thought was 6 weeks 5 days but she put me at further along. Good luck, it really worth it xx

7+5, vaginal ultrasound, done due to some bleeding. Don't ask me what's what! But saw and heard a heartbeat. Good luck!
