Hi!
I'm due March 19th with my 3rd.
I'm okay, well I ache and everything is so hard as I have such a huge bump.
Recently I feel like I've hit a wall... I have 0 energy and every single day everything is such an effort!!!
How are you feeling!? What date in March are you due?

fibeee · 27/01/2020 00:04

I’m due on 18th March with my first.

My bump is getting pretty big now too and I’ve developed a bit of a waddle much to DH’s amusement! Can feel my energy levels dipping too. I cleared out a bunch of clutter today from the baby’s room and had to go for a lie down afterwards.

Starting to think more about birth. Had been hoping to go down the natural route and am booked onto a hypnobirthing course. But after having some high BP issues this week I’m concerned that is all a pipe dream now.

Are you working? I was planning to work up to 39 weeks but think I was being a bit ambitious!

I'm due on the 20th March. As you can see by the time not getting much sleep over here! Baby is having a little party! And I got major heartburn!

I'm only working part time at the moment! I feel sore and no energy on most days!

I have an appointment on the 6th feb with consultant to get my date booked in for cesarean! Feeling slightly nervous about the whole birth.

goldeline · 27/01/2020 08:38

Hi! I'm due 10th march but having a planned CS so hoping it's a bit earlier than that. I've just changed my finish date at work (now 2 weeks left) as I have PGP and even the commute is a real hard slog!

Totally emphathise with feeling exhausted.. I feel like I could sleep for days and days, obviously with an hourly wake up to pee. Arrgh!!

sprite25 · 27/01/2020 08:57

Can I join? Due march 18th and I've had enough already, I'm flipping huge! (which everyone seems to take great delight in telling me). No health issues or anything but I'm miserable with Spd, heartburn and exhaustion, plus I seem to hate DH at the moment which I'm guessing is down to hormones. Might start gathering bits for hospital bag soon in the hope that she comes sooner rather then later (was two weeks late with other 2 DC, don't think I could cope with that 😂)

Paythosebitchesnomind269 · 27/01/2020 09:07

Due 6th March, really had enough now! Can't possibly get any bigger 😱 ankles swollen this weekend and just cannot get comfortable.

LittlePeanut33 · 27/01/2020 09:25

Morning ladies,

Due 9th March with my first, planning to work until the end of Feb and hoping due to having an office job ill be able to make it. Might be ambitious though, although I know ill go stir crazy in the house for too long and want to start painting walls so I'm best trying to keep occupied in work.

I've taken one hypnobirthing class and have another one this week, providing everything stays straightforward, I'm planning on going to the MLU for a water birth. All starting to get very real now. Shock

csmw · 27/01/2020 09:38

March 31st for me and feel like baby is playing extreme sports in there. Tired a lot but just been told my iron is really low so hopefully the tablets will perk me up without affecting my IBS too much. Have another growth scan in a week and am terrified baby was measuring 3lb 2oz at last one 🙈

Keha · 27/01/2020 09:39

Due 2nd March! Still plodding on at work, but only 3 weeks to go. Not sleeping very well. Feels pretty close but also still strangely far away. Still haven't packed my bag!

fibeee · 27/01/2020 10:45

Snap @sprite25 I’m also 18th Grin. Starting to think about my hospital bag too. Going to order a few nighties when I get paid. Other mums I know have been giving me boxes of disposable underwear which I didn’t know I would need!

LittlePeanut33 · 27/01/2020 11:03

@fibeee I should really pack a bag - will maybe start it tonight or at least write a list of stuff I need to get into it.

fibeee · 27/01/2020 11:51

Feel free to post your list here after to give us some inspiration!

Hi fellow Marchers! We have a group over in the birth clubs section that you’d be very welcome to join! www.mumsnet.com/Talk/birth_clubs/3766231-march-babies-5

Roozy123 · 27/01/2020 14:49

I went out today and got a few bits for my hospital bag. I got big knickers lol, I remember these being much needed lol. A couple of Nighties, something comfy to wear home, some sports bras, trouser and t-shirt pjs just incase I go through my Nighties and have to stay over night... as that happened with my son. I need to just pick up my slippers and then my toiletries at some point in the next few weeks then crack on with baby's bag!
Im 33 weeks on weekday and I'm being seen weekly and having extra scans so want to he prepared just incase they intervene at any point I want to have my bag ready so I'm comfortable.

LittlePeanut33 · 27/01/2020 15:03

@Roozy123 Sounds like a good start, might run to the shops after work and pick up a few bits.

Anything you recommend for baby? Don't want to over pack with a load of stuff I wont need.

fibeee · 27/01/2020 15:22

Yes @Roozy123 what are you packing for baby? First timer here so worried I’ll end up packing the kitchen sink Grin

Also due 18th March - popular date!
Planning a homebirth and looking forward to it, but still need to make the preparations for that. Otherwise we're sorted as still have everything from DD who is nearly 3.

You don't need to pack lots of stuff for baby in your hospital bag - 4 or 5 outfits will be ample. If you end up staying in more than 1 night you can always get your partner to bring in extras

Roozy123 · 27/01/2020 15:59

With my last 2 (and I'll be packing for this one) a couple of vests and baby grows also a separate going home outfit as my mum has always knitted the kids a cardigan and booties to leave the hosp in.
Wipes
Nappies
A blanket
Nipple cream for myself and breast pads and thick Sanitry towels in my bag aswell.. I'll pick some up in the next few weeks.
That's really it for baby though? Oh a hat or 2 aswell! That's important.
I'm sure I'll think of anything else as I pack.

I need to buy a bag lol. I have one for the baby stuff but not mine. May have to order one.

RhymingRabbit3 · 27/01/2020 16:03

Dont forget lots of high energy snacks in sugary drinks in your hospital bag. For in labour but also afterwards. I was given a slice of toast afterwards (cold by the time I got it) and a very small hospital dinner so I was starving in the evening!

Roozy123 · 27/01/2020 16:17

I agree.
I always bring a bag of drinks and snacks etc.
I had my son Xmas day and thought I might get a dinner... I was given a small cheese sandwich and a jelly, I had been in labour 15 hours and was starving!!! Lol
My bag of food and drinks came in handy for sure. Esp for my birthing partner too.

HoneyBee833 · 27/01/2020 16:50

Another March here! Due 10th March, finishing work on 14th February - it can't come quick enough! PGP is killing me and just feel generally shattered now! Oh and don't get me started on the heartburn! Isn't it all lovely 😂 xxx

firstppp · 27/01/2020 17:08

I'm due 11th March, and my heartburn is killing me as well.

I've been asked to pack a few front button nighties for the Hospital bag Anyone know where is the best place to buy these? I can't seem to find any that has buttons at the front when I looked at a few shops...

Roozy123 · 27/01/2020 17:12

Oh the heart burn 😫😫😪😪

krp14 · 27/01/2020 18:20

Hi guys, I’m due March 20th. Finishing work at 36+4 which feels like a lifetime away!
I’ve packed some stuff in my bag: 2 nighties with buttons (from primark if anyone’s after them), breast pads, maternity pads, underwear and nipple cream. Mini apple juices & breakfast bars. Nappies, cotton pads and some ready prepared milk for baby just incase! Just need to wash the clothes and plan to put in 3 outfits for baby.

How’s everyone’s weight gain looking?
I’m on 15kg since my pre pregnancy weight 🙈

Has anyone actually discussed birth plans with their midwives yet?

Roozy123 · 27/01/2020 18:33

Hi!
I've put on a stone, trying now for the last few weeks not to gain too much more.
When I'm 36 weeks I have an app with the midwife to discuss a birth plan. I have been told in my last app that if everything continues how it is I can be in the birthing suite again.
I'm due the 19th of March, this is my 3rd pregnancy and by far seems the quickest... I hope it carries on feeling this way lol.
