Sound I found out two weeks ago I have gestational diabetes I had to stay in hospital as they were worried I was going into premature labour thankfully baby has stayed inside! My sugars have been really hard to control in hospital I was on an insulin drip even with a no sugar and a low carb diet and being on both insulin and metformin my sugars are still not the levels they should be I had a scan and baby is measuring in the 74th percentile so slightly bigger than average (but nothing they're extremely worried about for now) I've also been told I have a little extra amniotic fluid I have an appointment to discuss options for birth in 3 weeks as I'm only 33 + 1 at the moment but I'm just wondering how likely it's going to be that I'd be induced early or if they will try to offer me a c-section I really would prefer a natural birth but I'm wondering with all the complications if I'm more likely to be looking at an early induction
