Plus size - When did your bump develop?

Currently 14+6 and just feel like I look like I've gained weight or am very bloated, excited to get a bump! I can kind of feel a slight bump when a press on my tummy but that's all. I'm between a size 16-18.

I've read that most plus size ladies don't see a bump until quite late in the pregnancy?

I hid it from everyone until 20 weeks, then it popped. By 22 weeks there was no hiding it! I was a size 18 but lost a bit in early pregnancy as I was so sick.

I'm a size 16 and could see mine from about 15 weeks but no hiding it by 17ish weeks

Bookworm83 · 25/01/2020 22:40

I'm a size 16 and the bump was very clearly showing from 11 weeks. Dress size isn't everything, a lot depends on how you're built too. X

I’m a 12 and didn’t see anything until 25 weeks when it popped out overnight! Honestly, be glad for the time it isn’t really obvious as it’s much more comfortable with a hidden little bump!

I'm an 18 and didn't have a noticeable bump until 24ish weeks and even then it was easily hidden. It really popped at 30 weeks x

Have had a noticeable bump to others since 19/20ish weeks. I could see a change in the shape of my belly from 16 weeks. First baby, size 18/20.

stackhead · 26/01/2020 07:33

For me not until the third trimester. Maybe 30-32 weeks.

Luaa · 26/01/2020 07:37

I could have passed for just fat all the way through, both times. I worse lots of clothes that made it look a bit more obvious I was pregnant. I was size 18.

Lilopup · 26/01/2020 08:31

I was an 18/20 and my bump wasn't noticeable until around 25 weeks, but within a couple of weeks the bump was massive. Although when I returned to work on KIT days some colleagues I spoke to thought I had left my job... apparently they never noticed the massive 9lb baby I was growing... charming!

Size 20. I think I started looking pregnant rather than just fat mid third trimester. I work with obstetricians, and they didn't notice until I was 30+ weeks. Scrubs do hide quite a lot though.

maria2bela · 26/01/2020 10:59

About 5 months you could see a proper bump for me

loubert89 · 27/01/2020 16:08

I'm a size 20/22 (more likely 20 now due to all the morning sickness) at 14+6, I also just look bloated at the moment. I don't expect to 'pop' until 3rd trimester if I do at all.
