Hello,

I currently have a 12 month old. I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant. I found out at 8 weeks& told my partner straight away... at the time we agreed with abortion as we were scared. We both attended the clinic but I couldn’t go ahead with it- he knows this. We have never spoke about it since. He doesn’t seem to think I’m pregnant.

I was still hesitant to keeping the baby but I have. I’m now 17 weeks with midwife appointments& scans coming up. I don’t know how to tell him. I’m so scared.

What do I say to him? I haven’t lied- he knows I haven’t had it done. He’s just ignored the fact& hoped its gone away :(

He knows your pregnant. Pregnancies don’t just vanish in to thin air.

How old are you both?

BigFatLiar · 25/01/2020 17:09

You're going to have to sit down with him and tell him straight that the baby is a fact and will be coming. Can't predict how he'll handle it but at the same time the sooner its out in the open the sooner you'll know. I hope he's supportive and gives you the help you need.

Seeing as he knows you didn't have the abortion I would just say to him "my scan is on..." and leave that with him.

@. @PGtipsplease 23&25 We’ve just moved into our dream house& he has a good job.

@MsChatterbox I’d rather loose him, than the baby. I’m totally willing to do it alone if I have to. I will sit down& just mention the scan. I’m just so worried Sad

What are you scared he's going to do?

Tink2007 · 25/01/2020 17:24

Where does he think the pregnancy went to?

CalamityJune · 25/01/2020 17:25

Of course he knows you're pregnant.

SpudsAreLife84 · 25/01/2020 17:27
Sad

Sometimes we imagine these things worse than they are. Sounds like he is avoidance coping which obviously can't continue. He might surprise you and not seem so stressed when you tell him.

I think it's time to sit down and tell him straight that you're doing it with or without him, so he can buck up his ideas and support you or he can jog on. His choice, but what isn't an option is hin oddly pretending it isn't happening.

I'm so sorry you're going through this Flowers
