Consultant -What to expect at my first appointment

Just as the title says....
this isn’t my first time having a consultant led pregnancy but I have no memory of the last 2.
I’ve got my first appointment next week. I’ll be 17 weeks pregnant. Anyone had one recently and know roughly how long it will last and what they ask?

It probably depends on why you need to see a consultant. Most women don't.

4th c section, history of pre eclampsia (in 3 pregnancies and gestational diabetes (in 2 pregnancies) I had a PPH with my first and blood transfusion.

Do they just chat about previous births?

I would think he'd want to examine you at least, to try and determine whether you'll have any problems with your pregnancy.
