Veins in pregnancy

I have always had a vein on my bottom lip, I went to GP years ago and he said it is called a venous lake. I've just found out i am pregnant, 4+4 weeks. Since yesterday I've noticed the vein bulging and really dark purple. I've done some classic googling and apparently blood is pumping harder now in early pregnancy (this is my first) so thinking it will be due to this.

Has anyone experienced this? 🤔

Had crazy visible blue veins on boobs from second trimester onwards and a very swollen purple vag in the third trimester 🙈 definitely all due to blood flow increases. They went away after birth.

Your blood volume increases in pregnancy.
The boob veins are there to supply the milk ducts.
